The final result, is lovely to drink. A rich, persistent nose of candied-fruit, prunes and cloves. Tasting of butter toffee and sultanas, Demerara sugar and even cola. The well-balanced sweetness first coats the mouth but then fades away slowly, leaving the palate clean. After blind tastings at Royal Mile Whiskies, the team were highly impressed and described it as a quaffable drink.
