La Venenosa Sierra de Jalisco Raicilla is crafted by Maestro Tabernero Don Ruben Peña in the Mascota village of Sierra Occidental de Jalisco region. It is produced from Agave Maximiliana and distilled only once in a hybrid Filipino/Arabic still. The resulting spirit offers rich fruit notes of papaya and avocado backed up by subtle notes of ginger, cinnamon and tangerine. It has a bracing acidity making it a great cocktail component.
